Who Are We

Gale Laquette is an event planning business located in Memphis, TN.

How we got started...

I started helping friends and family plan and execute their events years ago. During COVID, like many others, I was laid off. I had time to think about what I enjoy doing, and creating beautiful events is what I enjoy. Someone asked me, “Why Gale Laquette?” Here’s why; I named my company after one of my biggest supporters, my mom.

Although small, we aim to provide beautiful events for all our clients.

I hired Gale Laquette Event Planners to plan my sister’s surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary Party. Dornisha and her crew did a wonderful job. She offered practical suggestions to stay within my budget and still produced an elegant and festive occasion. She also made arrangements for the food and the music.
